Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TruckSim GPS (the "Service"), including the mobile application, companion software, website, and related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use TruckSim GPS. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

2. Description of Service

TruckSim GPS is a GPS navigation companion application for Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator. It provides real-time in-game navigation features on your mobile device.

TruckSim GPS is an independent third-party application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by SCS Software, the developer of Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator.

3. Account Registration

Certain features of TruckSim GPS require you to create an account through a supported authentication provider. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Subscription Plans

TruckSim GPS offers both a free tier and a paid Pro tier:

• Free Tier — Authenticated users have access to basic features at no cost, subject to daily usage limits.
• Pro Tier — Unlocks advanced features including unlimited route planning, multi-stop navigation, and an ad-free experience. Pro access can be obtained through a monthly or annual subscription via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, or through a Patreon subscription linked via OAuth through the app.

Billing and Payment

For in-app subscriptions, payment is charged to your Apple ID account or Google Play account at the time of purchase confirmation (or at the end of a free trial period, if applicable). The subscription price and billing period are displayed at the time of purchase in your local currency. Patreon subscriptions are billed according to Patreon's billing terms.

Auto-Renewal

All subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the same price and subscription duration you originally selected, unless you are notified of a price change in advance.

Free Trials and Introductory Offers

Certain subscription plans may include a free trial or introductory offer. The duration of the trial and the price after the trial ends are displayed at the time of purchase.

• If you do not cancel before the free trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription and your account will be charged.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited if you purchase a subscription before the trial expires.
• Free trial eligibility is determined by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and is typically limited to one trial per account.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will retain access to Pro features until then. No partial refunds are provided for the remainder of a billing period.

To cancel your subscription:

• Apple App Store — Go to Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions, select TruckSim GPS, and tap Cancel Subscription.
• Google Play Store — Open the Google Play app, tap your profile icon > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions, select TruckSim GPS, and tap Cancel subscription.
• Patreon — Manage your membership at patreon.com/settings/memberships.

Important: Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription. You must cancel through the platform where you subscribed.

Refunds

Refunds for in-app purchases are governed by the policies of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Cocoa Sandwich LLC does not directly process payments or issue refunds for in-app subscriptions. Patreon subscriptions are governed by Patreon's terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Abuse, overload, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure
• Share your account credentials or subscription access with others
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits or access restrictions

6. Intellectual Property

The TruckSim GPS application, website, and all associated content (including but not limited to design, code, graphics, and documentation) are owned by Cocoa Sandwich LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Euro Truck Simulator 2, American Truck Simulator, and all related game data, map data, and assets are the property of SCS Software s.r.o. and are used under applicable modding and telemetry APIs.

7. Third-Party Services

TruckSim GPS integrates with third-party services including Firebase (Google), Patreon, RevenueCat, Apple, and Google. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms:

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee:

• Route accuracy or completeness of navigation data
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service
• Compatibility with all game versions, mods, or hardware configurations
• Availability of third-party services

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Cocoa Sandwich LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amounts you have paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Account Termination and Deletion

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, is harmful to other users or the Service.

You may request deletion of your account at any time through the app settings or by contacting us at [email protected]. Upon requesting deletion:

• You will be signed out immediately.
• Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted after a 14-day grace period.
• During the grace period, you may cancel the deletion request by signing back in to the app.
• After the grace period expires, deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Important: Deleting your account does not automatically cancel any active subscriptions. You must cancel your subscription separately through the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Patreon before or after requesting account deletion to avoid continued billing.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. For material changes, we will provide notice through the app or our website. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of the State of Delaware.

13. Apple App Store Additional Terms

The following terms apply to users who access TruckSim GPS through the Apple App Store:

• These Terms are between you and Cocoa Sandwich LLC only, and not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). Apple is not responsible for the Service or its content.
• Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support services with respect to the Service.
• If the Service fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the applicable purchase price (if any) to you. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the Service.
• Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the Service or your possession and/or use of the Service, including but not limited to: (a) product liability claims; (b) any claim that the Service fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (c) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation.
• In the event of any third-party claim that the Service or your possession and use of the Service infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, Apple will not be responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, or discharge of any such intellectual property infringement claim.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. Upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary thereof.

14. General Provisions

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions of these Terms shall remain in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Cocoa Sandwich LLC regarding the Service, and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

Force Majeure

Cocoa Sandwich LLC shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, internet outages, third-party service disruptions, or server failures.
